What Is A Normal Menstrual Cycle?

Feb 23, 2022 | Fertility, Health & Wellbeing, Hormones

Did you know you spend about 34.7 cumulative years in your lifetime with a menstrual cycle? That’s about ⅓ of your life! But why is this so important for you to know? Because, in gynaecological health, your menstrual cycle is everything.

Western Medicine has deemed the uterus as a non-essential organ, but if that’s the case, your menstrual cycle would also be considered non-essential…and we believe that couldn’t be further from the truth.

The womb is where all female life-cycle transitions take place – from your first period, to your monthly period, to pregnancy, labour, childbirth, and menopause – your life revolves around your womb. It’s your epicenter!

And as a menstruator with a womb, your menstrual cycle is a sign of health and vitality.

It’s women’s health week and this Week we celebrate you and the health of your period!
