The 4 Keys To Finding Your Fertility Window

Jun 9, 2021 | Fertility, Hormones

When am I most fertile? This is the most commonly asked question in clinic.

For many women and couples, knowing your fertile window can often be difficult to pinpoint! Secondly, if your cycle is irregular or you’ve just stopped to OCP it can be hard to understand when you are ovulating. Thirdly your period tracker App is not always accurate!

From day 1 it takes around 14 days for a follicle to mature for a regular 28 day cycle. At ovulation a surge in the LH hormone ruptures the mature follicle and releases your egg down the Fallopian tube! When the follicle releases this egg, that is when you’re most fertile. “You have a small window of 24 hours to conceive”!

It is around this time that we need to get down to the business side of things. And by business, I mean sex. Gone are the days of having sex every second day. We are not in the 1970’s, it’s 2021 and TIMING is everything. I’ve been practicing fertility awareness method since i was 15 years old. There is a method to conceiving! This is where science comes in – The Angea Method.
