Endometriosis involves the migration and growth of endometrial cells outside of the uterus. This induces a chronic, inflammatory reaction which causes health complications and increases a woman’s risk of infertility. Endometriosis can be associated with painful periods, infertility, PMS, backaches, nausea, vomiting, migraines, headaches, pain during intercourse & menstruation, ovulation, urination or with bowel movements. Irregular bleeding and pre-menstrual spotting are also common.
